PRIVACY

Learn without being followed by default.

Cutaway Labs uses a first-party cookie to remember your analytics choice. Optional Google Analytics and Meta Pixel scripts load only after you select “Allow analytics” and only when those services are configured for the site.

Lesson feedback

Thumbs, review recommendations, and optional written notes are stored with the lesson and version you reviewed. We do not require an email address and do not retain your raw IP address. A random first-party identifier keeps related feedback together; a keyed, unreadable network digest is used only to limit abuse. Ask us at the address below if you want feedback associated with your browser deleted.

What optional analytics records

We measure page visits, opened mechanisms, video starts and completions, cutaway interactions, engaged time, shares, successful idea submissions, and related-cutaway clicks. We do not send suggestion text, email addresses, or other form contents to analytics.

When you allow analytics, Cutaway Labs assigns a random browser ID and session ID so aggregate reports can estimate unique visitors, acquisition source, video starts, cutaway interactions and engaged time. These identifiers are not tied to a name or account. The first-party event service does not store IP addresses or user-agent strings. Event-level analytics are retained for 180 days, after which they are deleted automatically; weekly aggregate reports may be kept longer for trend comparison.

Suggestions

Ideas you submit enter a private review queue. An email address is optional and is used only for the notification you request.

Change your choice

Choosing essential-only reloads this page without optional analytics. You can change the choice again at any time.
